“OREGANO” ‘s involvement with oregano began in the year 2000. Using a step-by-step procedure and with a strong commitment to the traditional methods of production and processing, we endeavored to launch a product of high quality, which would be highly marketable.
The founder of “OREGANO”, Mr. Nikos Tziakas, being himself in favor of the philosophy above, succeeded in achieving the initial objectives he had set and, within a family business, he was very fortunate to establish a connection with a specific number of satisfied customers all over Greece.
It has been a customer satisfaction, though, that has stemmed not only from the quality of the product and the utmost benefits offered to anyone who uses it, but also from the excellent organization and the corporate attitude of “OREGANO” towards their customers – with no exceptions.
“OREGANO” ‘s crop areas, processing facilities and warehouses are located in the region of Moschopotamos, a village on the foot of the Pierian Mountains, at an altitude of 460 m and just 20 kms from the town of Katerini to the north-west.
