Growing oregano
Oregano is planted in the fields during the autumn or in the early spring, following all the regulations and the standards of the right growing procedures.
The planting distances between the rows, as well as between the plants on the rows are 45 cm.
Oregano blooms from late January until late July and it is harvested when the plant is in full blossom.
What should be noted is that oregano has no serious problems regarding plant diseases and pests – that is why no use of pesticides is necessary.
Processing oregano
After the harvesting of oregano, which is done with the use of advanced machinery, processing continues in the respective unit (processing machine), which cleans and sieves the product.
“OREGANO”, before the distribution of its product to the merchants, making the most of its facilities, fully in line with a strict program that aims to the production and delivery of oregano of high quality and unique merit, guarantees – in any case – absolute success, as far as the processing stages are concerned.
